Our business was established in 1988 and during the last thirty-one years or so we have delivered services to some of the most prestigious and sensitive environments in and around London.

Complete turnstile to lift integration:

 

What we were asked for:

RES was asked to extend an existing Lenel access control system to incorporate IDL speedgate barriers but to also include for auto lift call from the presentation of the access card at the turnstile point of entrance. The objective was to speed up the lift calling process and have the lifts automatically take the user to their destination offices in a multi-floor multi-tenanted office.

There were to be new lift call indicators on each barrier to inform users which of the 4 lifts to take to their home floor. The main reception areas had previously experience crowding and delays over peak periods.

What RES provided:

We re-developed the access software and re-wired all of the IDL barriers and fully integrated an updated inclusive Lenel system program to interface with the resident lifts and the objective was achieved, all on budget.

Upgrading Analogue Intercom to Digital:

 

What we were asked for:

We were asked to upgrade a very old bespoke analog audio intercom to a new IP based video intercom system but using the buildings 2 pair cable structure.

What RES provided:

RES used one pair for LV power and install digital IP transmitter units to take IP across the remaining single pair. This was then connected within the Security Control room and the internals all run on CAT5E. This saved the client Thousands of pounds in cable structure over 18 external call points and 3 internal Concierge units.

Analog to HD CCTV TV System Upgrade:

 

What we were asked for:

We were asked to upgrade an older system using old analog CCTV cameras to new HD digital cameras

What we provided

Cameras were upgraded to a full HD system without the need to re-cable your buildings. We also provided a mix of  HD and IP on a single system and designed and installed a completely new security control room using our own built software-based camera Matrix system.

Upgrading of old access control:

 

What we were asked for:

The client had a large legacy system and needed gradual improvements to fit in with its budgetary requirements over two years. The brief was to provide a system that could work along with site an older system, but be future proofed. Replacing the entire system in one go was financially prohibitive.

What we provided

RES installed a completely new system to run alongside an older existing one which provided the option to upgrade additional parts of the system as budget allowed over a period of time.

We used the same card and reader technology but installed new controllers and software to run in tandem with your older system. Both systems continue to work can then work together allowing for sections of the building to be seamlessly moved over to the new system as budgets allow.

We are currently doing this on many very large buildings in The City and Canary Wharf.
