Audio & Video Entry Systems
Audio and video entry systems allow staff to verify the identity of a visitor prior to allowing them access to a restricted area or building.
They can be a simple one-button system linked to a single handset or can be multiple units linked to additional handsets for multiple occupancy buildings.
Audio systems will permit two-way speech between a visitor and a member of staff and will generally allow the staff member to “release” the appropriate door or open a gate or barrier by pressing a release button on the handset.
Video entry systems have an identical means of operation but also have the additional benefit of allowing the staff member to see a video image of the person operating the call unit from outside the protected area.
As with Access Control systems, Audio and Video Entry systems can be integrated with all forms of doors, gates, and barriers to allow seamless integration between these systems.

It is also possible to interconnect video entry systems with CCTV to allow the images captured from the entry system to be recorded as part of the CCTV system.
